This is a simplified version of the indoneasian Ggado Gado sauce that, paired with linguini, makes a fine sumemr outdoor dish for barbeques. The 5 spice powder is a nice touch though without the addition of indoneasian hot sauce it loses its relevance. Be sure to increase the volumes of everything, to ensure a coating that stays with the harder linguini. The sauce could also be paired with glass noodles. Would make this again. i made it for my in-laws who are somewhat picky. they liked it so much that they asked for the recipie. if you like asian flavors i think you will like this a lot. e
