Serves about 4

2/3 cup melted butter
1/2 tablespoon dried dill
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup Dijon style mustard
4 salmon filets, with skin
vegetable oil

In a small saucepan, blend first four ingredients over low heat until melted together. Place salmon in a glass dish and pour marinade over salmon. Refrigerate for about an hour. Preheat grill or broiler to high. Remove salmon from marinade; reserve marinade. Brush skin side generously with oil and place on grill or on the rack of a roasting pan. Grill or broil salmon, basting frequently with reserved marinade. Remove from heat when just cooked through.
